    Note: This only applies to pinch pleat drapery! Most of the time our clients ask if we can use their current hardware (which is a good way to save money). The answer is yes, it is possible. Thankfully, there are only a few factors to consider. 1. What kind of stiffener do you have?     If you're thinking about changing your current window treatments and want drapery, the first thing you should ask yourself is if the new drapery will go to the ceiling or the wall. Here is the difference: Ceiling Mount is used when the hardware or cornice box/valance goes all the way up to the ceiling.     Drapery Returns: What Are They?

    A drapery return is the last pleat or part of the drapery that wraps around the drapery rod corner and returns to the wall. Returns vary on width size because each project has different projections of the hardware to the wall. Returns are a great way to block any light that comes from the corners of a window.
