In the heart of San Diego's Hotel Circle, you will find Hotel Iris. It's hard to miss due to their beautiful purple lighting at nighttime. Its a great symbol of their uniqueness and modern take in hospitality. The hotel is minutes away from the zoo, Sea World, the historic Gaslamp Quarter, as well as fun neighborhoods like North Park and Hillcrest.
Since the initial meetings, we knew this was going to be a fun project. Management did not shy away from bold design. Everything was designed and picked in-house, allowing everyone to collaborate as a team and carry out their vision.
We provided all new blackout drapery, hardware, and upholstered cornice boxes for their windows. We also manufactured their upholstered headboards, and boxspring covers. The uniqueness of the boxspring covers is that for the beds that did not have the upholstered base, we made them a boxspring cover made out of the same fabric as the headboard. Not only does it give an illusion that its a complete bed base, it's easier to manage when it comes to repairs and mobility from room to room.
We just loved being a part of this project and it is always a delight working with this team with their other properties. It's always great to work with people who push for excellence and inspire to set the bar on what is coming next.
